Galaxy S6 Edge+ plus Stock Firmware

Here are the Galaxy S6 Edge plus stock firmware of which were all officially released via OTA updates. You can take advantage using one of these stock firmware especially if you have a rooted and a modified Galaxy S6 Edge plus.  You may have encountered or received this massage that says, "The operating system on your device has been modified in an unauthorized way. Try downloading software updates using Samsung Smart Switch on your PC, or visit a customer service center." That's exactly how you've probably noticed when trying to get the latest Firmware Over-The-Air update.

Now, if you do not have any Samsung Experience center in your area, you can use the stock firmware instead to manually restore your Galaxy S6 Edge plus to its original firmware and or update to the latest released out of your own.

Important Reminder:


DO NOT USE the stock firmware to DOWNGRADE the GALAXY S6 plus from the newest Android 5.1.1 release back to any older update. A new security policy has been imposed, doing so will not work and it only fail. Therefore, you will not be able to install a previous series of OS to the phone, once you've updated to a newest one.

SM-G928A AT&T Galaxy S6 Edge+ Stock Firmware


This device cannot be rooted nor modified, it simply because it has a locked "bootloader". Therefore, stock firmware is not necessarily needed. You may only use it out of your own purpose such as upgrading the device from Android Lollipop to Marshmallow and for fixing a nearly bricked phone, such as bootloop and stuck Samsung logo.
